Rod is a former member of Freshwater and moved into production with the acclaimed Carson album Blown in 1972. He has many fine recordings to his credit, including some of the La De Das' classic early 70s recordings, but he will probably be best remembered for his 1978 production of the Saints I'm Stranded.
