'A man dying of cancer has an encounter with a beautiful ghost in broad daylight. The aboriginal initiation, which involves the man's totem, enables him to enter the spirit world. The goddess draws him into the burning bush and its significance is explained by a Freudian "St Peter". A substantial film with more than a hint of realism.'
